That 10 o’clock Feeling (McLeod)
It’s that 10 o’clock feeling on a Friday night
When the drink has swept the people far out of sight
But your sitting all alone, coz your guy is outa town
And all your friends are working, so you’re feeling down.
But it’s alright
Because the night
Is yours to control
You reach for a guitar
And sing to the stars
Opening your soul.
You see the people leaving public houses for their homes
Walking home together and talking of good times
You smile a little, then sadness overcomes
Because you’re all alone you can’t share these good-times.
But it’s alright
Because the night
Is yours to control
You reach for a guitar
And sing to the stars
Opening your soul.
