My reality (Evans)
Your threads of persuasion are thin on the ground
Elements just don’t take it through
The arguments you give may be basically sound
But soon your reason withers with you
This is only my reality
Take it to pieces,
remind me what you see
Your words are softly spoken but wasted on me
Prejudice without reason
Open up your mind, you’re the same underneath
Your sympathetic looks don’t fool me
This is only my reality
Take it to pieces, remind me what you see
if you don’t know me
how can you judge me
in your present state of mind
save your judgement
until you know me better
