Mystery (McLeod)
A sleeping silent coach
Heading for the dawn
Bringing me back someone
To keep me warm.
And who is in your arms
As you drop me like a stone?
Or are you coming back
Alone?
Autumn leaves do battle
But cannot leave the wind
And there is something in me
Calling out across the sea
I don’t like mystery
I can just imagine
The pain I would have
Watching you holding
Another love.
But who am I to tell you
That your place is here with me?
Keep from avoiding misery.
Autumn leaves do battle
But cannot leave the wind
And there is something in me
Calling out across the sea
I don’t like mystery.
Autumn leaves do battle
But cannot leave the wind
And there is something in me
Calling out across the sea
I don’t like mystery
