Happy Here (McLeod)
Killing time
On the motorway at midnight
Like to drive
In the dark, no city lights
Sick and tired
Won’t this road go on forever?
In the dark,
You can’t see all my goodbyes.
Is it something in the air?
All those people really care?
Will I fall like a mountain?
Will I hear above the shouting?
Will I care ...?
A little smile might be deceptive
Think:
A little while might turn us round
But the daylight
Has a very different story
And the daylight
Has a very different sound.
Is it something in the air?
All those people really care?
Will I fall like a mountain?
Will I hear above the shouting?
Will I care ...?
